This tube type preamplifier kit was announced simultaneously with the launch of the LUX KIT brand.
The equalizer circuit is similar to the circuit used in the C-22 Macintosh, and consists of a combination of a P-K / NF circuit (feedback from the second stage plate to the first stage cathode) and a cathode follower circuit.
An orthodox circuit is used to adjust sound quality.
The low-cut filter is CR1-stage type, the high-cut filter is NF-type, and the tone control is Lux-type NF-type with less waviness at the mid-point. The tone control can be adjusted more precisely because the bending point frequency can be switched.

(1) Coupling capacitors replaced with Panasonic film capacitors.
(2) Bypass electrolytic capacitors replaced.
(3) Resistors replaced due to aging deterioration.
(4) All switches and volume controls have been contact-polished and cleaned,
so switching noise and crackling are no longer noticeable.
(5) RCA input/output terminals have been thoroughly polished.
(6) Solder joints on the circuit board have been reinforced.
(Caution) The voltage of this electrical appliance is 100V and is designed for Japan. If this product is to be used in countries outside Japan with voltages higher than 100V, such as 120V, 200V-240V, etc., a transformer must be used to adjust the voltage to the voltage of each country. Without a transformer, this product will surely break down and cause fire or accident.We are not responsible for any damage to this product caused by use without the correct transformer. Buyers are requested to provide their own transformer.
